    • Location: Below the jawline.

    • How to stimulate: Gently stroke downward from the neck to the collarbones 5-10 times on each side.

  2. Axillary Lymph Nodes (Armpit)

    • Location: In the armpit.

    • How to stimulate: Press upward gently with circular motions, repeating 5-10 times in each armpit.

  3. Inguinal Lymph Nodes (Groin)

    • Location: In the crease where the thighs meet the lower abdomen.

    • How to stimulate: Press inward and upward with circular motions 5-10 times on each side.

  4. Facial and Neck Drainage

    • Begin at the forehead and sweep outward toward the temples, then downward along the jawline toward the neck.

    • Continue with 10-15 strokes along the neck from the jawline to the collarbones.

  5. Arm and Leg Drainage

    • Arms: Start at the shoulder, stroking down toward the armpit, then move from the wrist toward the elbow.

    • Legs: Begin at the thigh, stroking toward the groin, then move upward from the ankle to the knee.

  6. Abdominal and Pelvic Drainage

    • For the abdomen, use sweeping motions to guide fluid toward the cisterna chyli, located just below the ribcage.

    • Apply light circular strokes around the navel and pelvic area to stimulate lymphatic flow from the lower body.

Frequency and Precautions

  • Frequency: MLD can be performed 2-3 times a week, for 10 to 30 minutes per session.

  • Hydration: Drink water after each session to flush out toxins.

  • Avoid if: You have infections, heart conditions, or a history of blood clots.
