Disclaimer:
The practices outlined in this post are optional and intended as supplemental wellness steps. Please approach them cautiously and only proceed if you feel capable of handling them. If at any point they become difficult or cause discomfort, stop immediately and return to your regular routine. These methods are not one-size-fits-all and may not be suitable for everyone.
If you have any underlying health conditions or are uncertain about any practice, consult a qualified healthcare professional before attempting these methods. Remember, your well-being comes first, and these practices are designed to enhance—not compromise—your health.
1. Scheduled Detox
Frequency: Once every 6 months (or every 3 months for some).
Preparation: Do this during holidays or take a day off.
Evening Meal: Eat early and get a good night’s sleep.
Morning Routine:
Upon waking, mix sea salt in water until tolerable.
Drink several cups until you feel full.
Engage in light activity (sitting or walking).
Expect to use the bathroom frequently as your body detoxifies.
Note: If no results occur within 5-6 hours, return to your normal diet. Always consult with a healthcare professional if you have underlying conditions
3. Neti Pot
Use every 15 days or as necessary.
Saline Solution Recipe:
Boil 250 mL of tap water for 15 minutes.
Cool to room temperature and mix in ½ teaspoon of salt.
4. Eye Wash
Use an eye wash cup filled with cold water daily, blinking 10-20 times.
Regularly wash your eyes with cold water, especially after extended screen time.
5. Stay Hydrated
Sip cold water throughout the day to maintain hydration.
6. Water Fasting
16-Hour Fast: Eat before 8 PM and only drink water until noon the next day.
24-Hour Fast: Begin at 8 PM and fast until the next 8 PM.
8. Ear Care
Clean ears gently after showering and avoid blocking them with headphones.
9. Oil Pulling
Gargle with a teaspoon of coconut or sesame oil for 10-20 minutes, then spit it out.
10. Sun Exposure
Safely expose your eyes to the sun during sunrise and sunset for 1 hour daily.
12. Steam Bath
Monthly steam baths promote sweating and detoxification.
13. Breaks During Work
Take 10-15 minute breaks every 3 hours to relax and rejuvenate.
